The resource pages in this section offer information and commentary about some of the many works written on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein; or the Modern Prometheus. Listed here are some of the many editions of the novel, some key literary and scientific sources for the novel, some of the many media adaptations of the novel (such as movies, comic books, video games), biographies of Mary Shelley and her circle, a wide array of responses to the novel (such as reviews and literary criticism), and selected course syllabi and other teaching materials. Because it is an evolving collection of sources, we invite readers to submit their favorite Frankenstein resources as well. Selections and accompanying annotations have been provided by the Keats-Shelley Association of America’s Communications Fellows.
