Writing Between the Lines

The students enrolled in the Literature of the Romantic Period at Yonsei for the Fall of 2018 celebrate the bicentennial of the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein by hosting two exciting events. The first event is entitled as “Writing Between the Lines.” This is a competition in which students write and submit the ghost stories that they have written. They have to abide by a rule: they choose two sentences from the 1818 edition of Frankenstein to use as the beginning and ending of each of their stories.
