Slippery Rock University’s Kaleidoscope Arts Festival is thrilled to present a staged musical reading of Eric B. Sirota’s sweeping, new smash Off-Broadway hit, FRANKENSTEIN. Based on the Mary Shelley’s novel—and just in time for the 200th celebration of her classic story— Sirota’s, FRANKENSTEIN, explores the human need for love and companionship. Having lost his mother at a young age, Victor Frankenstein seeks to end man’s mortality and arrogantly enters territory beyond his control. While he enjoys unconditional love from Elizabeth, he grants none to his creation.
This event is co-sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and the Departments of English and Theatre of Slippery Rock University.
FRANKENSTEIN is currently running in NYC, Off-Broadway at St. Luke’s Theatre.
